Le nom de ce rocher d'origine avant qu'il ne devienne le Mont Saint Michel \u00e9tait Mont Tombe.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">L'amplitude des mar\u00e9es dans la baie du Mont Saint Michel est la plus importante d'Europe, car le sol y est tr\u00e8s plat.<\/p><p>L'amplitude maximale entre la mar\u00e9e haute et la mar\u00e9e basse peut atteindre 15 m\u00e8tres et la mer peut se retirer \u00e0 15 kilom\u00e8tres. Il y a deux mar\u00e9es chaque 24 heures et 50 minutes. Donc, la mar\u00e9e monte 50 minutes plus tard chaque jour.<\/p><p>Si vous avez l'opportunit\u00e9 de venir au Mont Saint Michel lors des grande mar\u00e9es, ne manquez pas ce spectacle ! Il est tr\u00e8s impressionnant de voir la vitesse \u00e0 laquelle mer avance dans la baie depuis le sommet du Mont Saint Michel.
